Live Table Games on the Floor
Our Grande Prairie gaming floor runs on a set weekly rhythm, and it really helps to know the table hours before you get in the car. On Sundays and from Wednesday through Saturday, live tables are open from noon. Mondays and Tuesdays start a little later, with table doors opening at 2:00 p.m. Most nights we close the tables at 2:00 a.m., but from Wednesday to Saturday they stay live until 3:00 a.m.
On the felt you will find blackjack, roulette, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and three card poker. Every game is dealt live by our staff, right on the main floor at 10910 107 Avenue. There is no online version of these tables here - if you want to play them, you have to visit us in person.
| Game | Days | Hours |

| Roulette | Sun-Sat | 12:00 or 14:00 - 02:00/03:00 |
| Ultimate Texas Hold’em | Sun-Sat | 12:00 or 14:00 - 02:00/03:00 |

If you want to speak straight to the table games department, call (780) 539-4454 and use extension 200. Table Games Manager Ruthbhel Santiago looks after the day-to-day operations and the schedule. Around holidays or during special events the hours may shift a bit, so making that short confirmation call before driving in is honestly just smart planning.
Poker Room: Cash Games and Tournaments
Our poker room is one of the busier corners of the property. Cash games usually run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Tournaments are set for Sundays and Wednesdays. We spread both Texas Hold’em and Omaha, which keeps the lineup varied whether you play here regularly or you are passing through Peace River Country.
To reach the poker room directly, call (780) 539-4454 and choose extension 121. You can also find us on PokerAtlas under the Grande Prairie listing if you want to see what is happening on the tables before you pick up the phone. Just keep in mind that third-party listings do not always update the moment something changes, so a quick call is still the more accurate way to check.
A few simple things are worth knowing before you show up for poker:
- Look at the current tournament schedule on greatnortherncasino.net or call ext. 121 to confirm what is running.
- Decide if you are coming for cash games or a tournament, because they are offered on different days.
- Aim to arrive ahead of the posted start time, especially on Friday and Saturday nights when seats tend to disappear fast.
- Bring valid government-issued photo ID. Alberta regulations require players to be at least 19 years old, without exception.
- When you arrive, ask staff about any current promotions or the exact buy-in structures, as these details do change over time.
- If you plan to settle in for a long session, remember the lounge and dining area sit just steps away from the poker room.
There is one general tip that really applies almost anywhere: if you are travelling in from outside Grande Prairie mainly for a tournament, call and confirm the schedule the day before you come. Venues adjust offerings more often than websites or apps might show.
